Dr. Nakaji completed his residency at the University of California, San Diego. He received additional fellowship training in endoscopic neurosurgery at the Centre for Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery in Sydney, Australia, and completed a second fellowship in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery at Barrow Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

Constantinos G Hadjipanayis, MD, PhD

Executive Vice-Chair, Director, Center for Image-Guided Neurosurgery, Co-Director, UPMC Brain Tumor Center, Director, Brain Tumor Nanotechnology Laboratory

Dr. Hadjipanayis is executive vice-chair for the University of Pittsburgh Neurological Surgery, director of the UPMC Center for Image-Guided Neurosurgery (CIGNS) and serves as co-director of the UPMC Brain Tumor Center. Dr. Hadjipanayis also directs the Brain Tumor Nanotechnology Laboratory in the Hillman Cancer Center and has been the principal investigator of multiple clinical trials and university, private foundation, and NIH-funded grants focused on brain tumors.

Line Jacques, MD, MS

Professor of Neurological Surgery

Dr. Jacques is the Chief of Peripheral Nerve and Pain Surgery program at UCSF. Her clinical specialty interests are in the treatment of entrapment syndromes, peripheral nerve tumors, and reconstructive procedures of the peripheral nerves and brachial/lumbosacral plexus. She also has over 2-decades of experience in the treatment of chronic refractory peripheral neuropathic pain.

Bernhard Meyer, MD

Professor Meyer studied medicine at the Universities of Padua/Italy and Erlangen-Nürnberg and also spent time abroad at Northwestern University, Chicago, and at the State University of New York, Brooklyn.
