Help with searching & filtering on MedOne
MedOne offers excellent search functionality across all of its content. Simply enter the desired term in the search field that appears at the top of each page.
Autocomplete
When you begin a search, MedOne will suggest additional terminology and match your results against its content.
Search Results
Once the “magnifying glass or “enter” is pressed, MedOne displays search results across its books and other content on the site. Scroll down the page to see the different types of content available.
Narrowing Results by the Type of Content
You can select from the filters to narrow a search to a specific type of resource, such as books.
More Options to Filter your Search
You can further refine most searches by title, author/editor name, and publication date.
Searching within a Specific E-Book or E-Journal
If you want to search within a title, use the search bar directly above the content. Once you perform your search, click on the magnifying glass icon. While typing, the autocomplete functionality will offer additional suggestions. You also have the option to view more results where “Show more” appears.
